Best Beginnings
In 1994, NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital formed a partnership program, Best Beginnings. This initiative provides support and education in the home to pregnant women and families with young children in Washington Heights. The service is designed to promote child health, prevent abuse and neglect, prepare children for school and enhance parental self-sufficiency.
