In 2004, more pediatric and maternal/fetal specialists from Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian were named as America's Top Doctors than from any other hospital in the nation.The annual survey is conducted by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and published in America's Top Doctors.

More than 250,000 leading doctors were asked to name the nation's best physicians in various specialties "to whom you would send members of your family." The most important criterion for physician selection was excellence in patient care. Other criteria included education, residency, board certification, fellowships, professional reputation, hospital affiliation, medical school faculty appointment, experience and disciplinary history.

We congratulate all the physicians included in the 2004 guide and applaud their efforts to raise the standards of medicine even higher.
