Von Hippel Lindau Clinical Care Center
At Columbia University we have a comprehensive von Hippel Lindau (VHL) Clinical Care Center for children and adults.
We offer genetic counseling and genetic testing to individuals and families who are concerned about their risk of von Hippel Lindau syndrome based upon a personal or family history of hemangioblastoma in the brain, spinal cord, or eyes, young or bilateral renal cell carcinoma, pheochromocytoma, or endolymphatic tumor.
For individuals with diagnosed von Hippel Lindau syndrome, we offer comprehensive annual surveillance to screen for manifestations of VHL to catch signs early and intervene before any damage to the body is done. We have a team of specialists in radiology, ophthalmology, neurology, neurosurgery, urology, endocrinology, oncology, gastroenterology, and obstetrics to manage any of the manifestations of VHL.
