Pharmacy Assistance Program

The NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Pharmacy Assistance Program is an integral part of the Salud a Su Alcance (SASA) project. SASA, which is administered by the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Ambulatory Care Network, was established in March 2001 under the stewardship of a coalition of organizations consisting of three federally qualified health centers, a major teaching hospital with ten community-based primary care practices, a multi-service community-based agency, and a university (see below).

The Salud a Su Alcance Pharmacy Assistance Program (SASA-PAP) was launched in August 2002 with funding from Health Resource Services and Administration (HRSA) under the Community Access Program Initiative and is currently supported by a grant from the New York Community Trust.

For additional information about SASA-PAP, call (212) 342-1617.
