National Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference

Innovations in Pediatric Medicine is a two-day national continuing medical education (CME) conference. The conference coincides with the celebration for the 5th Anniversary of the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian. Intended Audience:
- Pediatricians
- Pediatric Sub-Specialists
- Pediatric Surgeons
- Pediatric Nurses
- Perinatologists
The conference is a review of advances in genetics, stem cell therapy, infectious disease, cancer and common childhood diseases that aims to:
- Enhance the general pediatrician's understanding of the role of genetics into the molecular pathogenesis, diagnosis and potential therapy of acquired and genetic childhood medical disorders.
- Critique and discuss the benefits, risks and bioethical challenges of the future of stem cell therapeutics in children.
- Review the medical and surgical advances in the prevention, diagnosis and management of common pediatric diseases.
