Advancing and Helping to Shape Policy
The Center's commitment to improving the health and welfare of all children means actively supporting children's health legislation and policies. To do this, the Center works closely with policy makers on the local, state and federal levels. Responding to children's health issues may include writing position statements, delivering expert testimony at public hearings, writing letters and meeting with lawmakers. The Center calls upon healthcare professionals at our Hospital and two Universities to help inform our agenda and to lend a powerful voice to children's health issues.
