The McKeen Pavilion is located on the 9th Floor of the Milstein Hospital Building at Columbia University Medical Center, 177 Fort Washington Avenue (between 165th and 168th Streets). Accommodations include complimentary high tea, concierge service, telephone, television, room service availability, and parking. Rates are available on request. The Crowne Plaza Englewood is located at 401 S. Van Brunt Street in Englewood, New Jersey — just north of Route 4 and Interstate 80. A shuttle is available to and from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. The shuttle costs $6.50 per person/each way and leaves approximately every 2-3 hours from 7 am - 8 pm. The Hotel's facilities include cable, indoor heated pool, exercise room, and lounge. The NewYork-Presbyterian Guest Facility at the Helmsley Medical Tower is located at 1320 York Avenue near 70th Street, just next door to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. This guest house offers a "home away from home" for out-of-town families of patients who require extended medical care or outpatient Hospital services. The accommodations are ideal when the patient is scheduled for early morning medical tests or Hospital admission, or needs medical care following hospitalization. The Helmsley Guest Facility is also the answer when family members want around the clock proximity to a hospitalized loved one. Learn more
Hospitality for Family and Friends is an organization that is available to help out-of-town family and friends of hospitalized patients who are in need of a hotel room in Manhattan, but cannot afford the rates. They must first speak to the patient's social worker. He/she will then call Hospitality for Family and Friends, which has an arrangement with many fine hotels throughout the city that donate rooms for this purpose for one or two nights at most. There can only be one- to two-day advance notice for a room. The social worker connects the family to the organization so that arrangements can be made.
