Big Apple Circus
The Big Apple Circus Clowns is a national program that helps brighten the day of hospitalized children. Visits by professional clowns, whose antics provide a welcome relief from day-to-day medical routines and enable sick children to laugh, experience joy and have fun. The program was initiated by NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in 1986. Now a national program, all the clowns are trained at the Hospital before being deployed to the bedsides of hospitalized children around the country.
