Cover the Uninsured
Cover the Uninsured Week, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation project, is a national effort to bring attention to the number of Americans without health insurance. During the week of April 27 - May 3, 2008 NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital joined 1,000 other sites across the country in hosting activities and distributing information about issues of health coverage. The project helped draw attention to the 47 million uninsured Americans, including 9 million children, and engage national and community leaders in this critical discussion.
