Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital Nurse Receives National Honor

Josephine Marcantonio, RN, MSN, CPN, is the 2010 Nursing Spectrum National Nurse of the Year for Mentoring and appears on the cover of the magazine's November issue. At the December 9 award presentation, Ms. Marcantonio, a clinical nurse specialist in Pediatric Cardiology and Neurology, was recognized for being an exemplary mentor and motivator, and for creating programs that promote learning and improved patient care. "She makes us all want to do a better job," says Lori Armstrong, RN, MS, Vice President, Nursing and Patient Care Services, NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
