Where are the closest overnight accommodations?
The Crowne Plaza in Englewood, New Jersey (just across the George Washington Bridge) offers a reduced rate of $119/night for those whose children are in The Hospital. A shuttle runs between the Hospital and the hotel for $6.50 a trip. Contact the Crowne Plaza at (201) 871-2020.
The Hilton in Fort Lee, New Jersey (just across the George Washington Bridge) is probably the closest hotel to the Hospital. Buses that stop near the hotel drop passengers off at the George Washington Bus Terminal, located at 178th Street and Broadway, just a few blocks north of the hospital. Contact the hotel at (201) 461-9000.
There are many hotels throughout Manhattan, although none in close proximity to the Hospital. Please speak to a representative at the Hospital's Welcome Center desk to help find one that is convenient and within your price range or see the Family Guide section on Parent Accommodations.

A Chase bank is located at 165th Street and Broadway, directly across from the Hospital's main entrance. There are 24-hour ATMs located in the lobby of the bank.
A Chase ATM is located in the lobby of the Presbyterian Hospital building.

The Cloisters

The Cloisters is a branch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art dedicated to the art and architecture of the European Middle Ages. The Cloisters is located in Fort Tryon Park near the northern tip of Manhattan on a hill overlooking the Hudson River. The Cloisters include the museum building, a magnificent garden and a great restaurant.
By bus: Take the M4 at the corner of West 168th Street and Fort Washington Avenue. The Cloisters is the last stop.
By subway:
Take the A train to 190th Street; an elevator takes you to street level, go right, and walk through the garden and park to The Cloisters.
