Pediatric BMT Program Receives International Accreditation
(Feb 14, 2007) Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital is proud to announce that the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation Clinical Program, Pediatric Bone Marrow Collection Program, Pediatric Apheresis and Cell Therapy Program were all recently awarded international accreditation by the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). FACT is a non-profit organization that promotes high-quality patient care and laboratory performance through voluntary inspection and accreditation in the field of cellular therapy. Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital is the only free-standing children's hospital in the tri-state area to achieve FACT accreditation for both autologous and allogeneic pediatric stem cell transplantation.
